The African Queen Floating Hotel is moored on the Mapledurham Estate, an English village that boasts picturesque cottages, a church, almshouses and a Manor House and Water Mill. The area has attracted many film and television productions due to its natural beauty and is famous for EH Shephard's illustrations for The Wind In The Willows. The hotel has centrally heated en-suite cabins and an a la carte restaurant, bar and large sun deck. There are many things to do so you can make the most of the stunning surroundings including bicycles, a 4 man dingy to explore the river, scenic bus tours and an old world horse and cart.
