Set high on Stan Hill, in the medieval village of Charlwood, surrounded by 35 acres of ancient woodland, Stanhill Court Hotel was built in 1881 as a family home. The Restaurant 1881 is open to residents for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You may wish to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea in the Library, with far distant uninterrupted views, or The Patio Bar, which changes the scenery to a Spanish style courtyard. Only 4 miles from Gatwick Airport, but will not be disturbed by low flying aircraft, as it is not in a flight path! But, you may get to see some deer, or sheep and cows grazing peacefully near grounds.
